Sumo!! And Day Four
Today was a good day at Crossfit!! I was the only female today, but I pushed thru like a champ....Beast Mode!!!
The WOD today was Kettlebell lift....20 for every minute...total 10mins....I did 8 rounds of 20 within 10mins...and boy oh boy was I feelin' it! It wasn't too tough...but next time I'll use a heavier kettlebell. Today I used 26lbs, so I'll step it up next time!
I actually got on the scale this evening after my shower just to see what was up...well, big mistake!!! I shouldn't have even looked at the scale. For one thing, I have no clue if I gained or lost since I didn't weigh myself before I started crossfit last Monday. AND I could be gaining a teenie tiny bit of muscle, so I really don't know! But I've decided to stay away from the scale and focus on increasing my weights and burning more calories during crossfit.
Oh, and by the way, I'm gonna take a stab at Paleo eating! Mainly, Paleo is meats, veggies, little fruit, very little grains and legumes. I'm doing as much research now as I can before I make the move to start it on Sunday. With my PCOS, Paleo may be a very well needed add on to my daily eating and workouts. So we'll see how this goes!!
