Day 11

Today's WOD:

Warmup was 5 Pwr Cleans
                     5-10 assisted pullups
                     3 rounds

WOD
18-15-10 Thrusters (c&j w/o jumping)
36-30-24 Situps

I finished the WOD in 8:34

My shoulders were hurting me pretty badly during the WOD today. I did something to it this afternoon when I was getting ready to go to the box. I think it happened when I was pulling the trash around for trash day tomorrow. When I got home, I put on an ice pack then took a pretty hot shower. Now I'm relaxing and trying to keep it moving so it won't get stiff! I don't know if I'm gonna go to the box tomorrow. It's gonna primarily depend on how my shoulders are feeling tomorrow afternoon.

I asked Nik about paleo and where to get more info about it. She suggested tri-paleo.com. I think Nik, Mo, and Blaine's wife created the website. I'm very interested in changing my eating so I can get better results. Nik said the best way to start paleo is to first eliminate sugar for a week...then eliminate grains. She doesn't recommend the Zone because people weren't losing enough weight on it. So I'm gonna try to go out to the cookout they're having Saturday so I can get a little more info on paleo. She said she and Mo offer nutrition counseling but I'm pretty doggone sure that's an additional fee...but if I really plan to get serious about Crossfit, then I've gotta get serious about my eating too!!
